The area is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful – exactly what we were hoping for. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made our stay super comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to help make my proposal to my now-fiancée an unforgettable experience. The sunset spot is one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen in my life. We had such an amazing stay and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know. Can’t wait to come back!

I don't know who loved the stay at the Leccino cottage more, us or our two dogs! It was so peaceful and quiet with beautiful little hiking roots around the farm and breathtaking sunsets. We especially loved the pool and hot tub which were perfect escapes from the harsh summer heat. We went on the hiking trail Leon recommended and it was nothing short of what he had promised: an interesting trail with breathtaking views! Leon was a lovely host, super responsive and helpful and we even got to take some of their delicious olive oil home (definitely buy some from him when you're there, it's so worth it!) What a lovely escape from the city, we'll definitely visit again.

Beautiful place so peaceful leon upgraded us to a bigger cottage just the hot tub takes forever to warm up and needs lots off wood. But will definitely go back again

An awesome destination for some quite travel with friends and family. Our hosts helped us with the most delicious meal pack we've had in our travels so far, and the corn bread is unbelievably moreish. A gem quite literally at the end of the road. We'd love to come back, and our only regret is staying for one night.

We had an amazing weekend here. The little pool with a view of the whole valley was a highlight. There's a pizza oven that I didn't even see in the description. Unfortunately it was too hot to hike, but it looks like a wonderful location for that, with several trails. I don't know what's up with the 4 stars -- if there was ever a problem it seems to be solved now.

We had a wonderful few days in Paternoster. The weather was great and the beautiful beach was in easy walking distance of the cottage. The cottage is well equipped although it would have been helpful if the listing made it clear that the bathroom was off the main bedroom which is awkward for 4 adults.

A breath of fresh air. Such a comfy and wonderfully private location. Everything you might need is there. Host Holly is very responsive and very helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

If you're looking for an authentic style fisherman's cottage on the Mosselbank side this is a great property in a great location. Shirley and her team were really helpful. We will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends in this lovely St Helena Bay home. The space is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The spacious kitchen and lounge with a huge fireplace were perfect for cozying up inside, while the big backyard—with a firepit and swing seat—was great for enjoying the outdoors with our dogs. We especially loved the indoor braai area with its large table, ideal for relaxed evenings with friends. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen, and the amazing selection of books was a real treat. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay as a layover to our destination, bery easy to find once u put the name Wiida Gatepass on google maps😅. Had a lovely welcome from Sharmain, super friendly and ready to help.. friendly dogs as well, quickly became friends 😂🥰. Peaceful environment, felt sooo safe and a beautiful place too. Took lots of pics . Would definitely come back here given the chance and recommend 10/10

Es is herrlich: morgens aufzustehen, ein Schritt und schon ist man auf der Terasse mit dem schönen Blick auf das Meer und dann noch einen Schritt weiter man ist schon am Strand: Anfang Februar fast alleine! Wenn nicht das Wasser so kalt wäre! Ein toller Platz runterzukommen und zu chillen! Aber ohne Auto keine Chance! Supermarkt, Cafes und Restaurants sind schon einige Kilometer entfernt. Aber das Restaurant DI SEE KAT in Paternoster ist ein MUSS!

Ons het heerlik gebly by Halinka. Sy is baie vriendelil en het ons tuis laat voel. Ons het heerlik gerus, die bed slaap baie lekker en alles was perfek! Baie dankie, ons sal weer kom kuier as ons in die omgewing is.

What a lovely peaceful weekend we had at Andrea's place. She is a lovely person, a REAL super host- attentive and helpful but left us to enjoy our privacy. This is a special place with a beautiful garden and private pool and lovely braai area. The decor was arty and tasteful. There were so many little touches and generous treats including choccies, milk and tea and coffee. We can highly recommend Andrea's self-catering as a wonderful peaceful and restorative place. Thanks so much- We will be back!

Yes there was WiFi, and plenty of other modern day conveniences, but Adrian and Veronica’s herder's cottage encouraged you to forget about these things and live in a simpler way that we rarely get to experience these days. Settled into the almost horizontal canvas chairs with a little fire to stay warm, while watching the stars was the highlight of our stay. Make sure to explore the crystal rock pools up by the river camp as they are well worth the brief walk. The 4x4 track also made for a great couple bonding experience! Thanks Adrian and Veronica for an unforgettable weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend. We were able to take our dog and enjoy long walks on the beach and a cozy fire inside to relax with a glass of wine.
