Everything about the place was great. Nice hot tub, nice outdoor seating area. Very quiet street and very close walking to public access and beach. The only complaint would be their internet. I had to make this a working vacation and I had to use a hot spot on my tablet in order to do that. The other guests were not able to connect either, but other than that I would highly recommend this place!!!

Gwynne's bungalow was very quaint, and at the perfect location! We were literally just steps away from the beach, and only a short drive to local shops and restaurants! The bungalow had beautiful beach views from the back porch. Our group enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the porch, with ample seating for everyone! Inside the bungalow, it was clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed that there was an outdoor shower to clean off before entering the home. The private parking on premises was a bonus and we really enjoyed the beach at Oak Island for early May! Not over crowded, and the street/location was quiet and in a safe area. Gwynne and her partners communicated very well with check-in/check-out directions and were very responsive during our stay. Check-in and Check-out was so easy! We will definitely be back to the bungalow in the future!

What a wonderful place for a weekend getaway!! Bungalow is just like the photos. It’s comfy, cozy, beautifully designed and decorated. I LOVED the swing and the tub/shower, and the salt for the bath was such a nice extra. Great food and little shops in Carolina Beach as well!! Thank you for all the recommendations :)

The house has plenty of room for a large family. My son and his family along with myself enjoyed our 3 days relaxing at the house and at the beach. We will definitely use this house again.

We really enjoyed this rental and it's proximity to the beach! We had everything we needed and the beach house was very comfortable and met our needs.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! We took our two dogs and they enjoyed getting to go to the beach. Very clean, reasonably priced, and a short walk to the beach! We will definitely be back for small weekend trips!

Shawn and Leah were friendly and gracious hosts who were easy to communicate with! The location so close to the beach was amazing, never had to worry about finding public parking since we could just walk. However the bathroom had a lingering odor from day one and the trashcan didn’t have a liner and we had to remove used sanitary products stuck to the bathroom trash can when we arrived. There were inconveniences such as having a sheet pan to warm up food but no oven mitts to get it out, and having to bring our own bath towels. Overall the experience was enjoyable despite the few set backs.

Vicki was a great host. Very responsive and friendly. The house was a 3 minute walk to the beach and the big fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. 10/10 would stay again!

Wow! Best experience with a hostess thus far! From start to finish, our short weekend trip with our two dogs, was fantastic at Pawtucket. Pauline was absolutely amazing to work with. Pawtucket is centered around dog lovers like my husband and I, and we are so thankful to have found something for dog lovers like us, created by a dog lover herself. The cleanliness of the beach home was exceptional and the centralized location made navigating Oak Island effortless with our furry boys. Everything that you could need was at your fingertips. The evenings and mid-day rest breaks were welcoming on the front porch and in the fenced in back yard with our boys. Looking forward to a return trip soon!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Home was clean, well decorated and had alot of amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood and close to anything we needed. Fenced back yard definitely was a great bonus for those of us with dogs

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time at Jamie’s place. The place was very clean and cozy. I would come back here again when the beaches open.

We had a long weekend getaway and had a great stay here at after dune delight . It was exactly what was described. The location is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, exploring neighboring towns, and of course the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful and everyone we encountered were super friendly.

Kolleen herself was very sweet and responsive for everything needed or wanting to know. She was very clear about how to get inside and did an amazing job at making sure her home had everything that would be needed. Her house was soooo very clean. There was nothing anywhere that I could find that was not clean :) I will definitely be staying with her again!! It was seriously like my little home I always wanted!! “But I have to many kids 😂😂”
