Remodeled split-entry "Hilltop Hospitality House" was my childhood home. One hour from Omaha in the lovely Loess Hills, with beautiful lake and valley views, (sleeps ten). Three queen beds, one double bed, one sofa sleeper, full kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a spacious open floor plan for large groups, and a large deck overlooking my friendly hometown, this is a great space for groups and family gatherings. Situated on a private acreage within Whiterock Conservancy, guests can easily access 40mi+ of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, float the nearby river, or enjoy dark sky viewing. A "rookery" is a nesting site for herons, a bird that prefers quiet, undisturbed habitat near water. And so the Rookery Cottage seeks to provide a natural escape from the daily grind.

Waterfront Cabin on Black Hawk Lake, Lake View IA

This property is located on the East side of Black Hawk lake which offers fantanstic sunsets. The patio on the waters edge is great for basking in the sun or jumping from the dock for a swim. Evening fires at the waters edge is also a great way to close out days fun. The property includes a boat hoist and jet ski hoist so feel free to bring your own toys for convenient access while you enjoy your stay. The house was rully remodeled in 2006.
