Jolene’s beach house has unbelievably spectacular views. The house design and decor is straight out of a home decorating magazine. The huge deck gives perfect privacy and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. The ocean was warm and wonderful for swimming . The house itself is incredibly well outfitted and Jolene made sure that we had everything, including coffee…. driving way out of her way to show up in the morning with a missing part for the machine. We were delighted with everything about this experience and only wished we could have stayed longer.

A great place to stay for a long weekend. Right on the beach.

This is a fantastic place to stay with all you need. Great indoor, outdoor living. Beautiful lake and easy home for all to enjoy. Lynley was very responsive and accommodating and we’d happily recommend and stay again.

Heather’s place was very clean and comfortable. It was lovely to look out the front windows directly onto the beach. Heather respected our privacy well but was also available for a friendly chat. Highly recommend.

Everything you need, presented beautifully. Great place to stay and catch up with friends and family. Peaceful to look over the water and it was handy to lots of things. Shelly is the perfect host and is so very thoughtful, even baking delicious cookies for us. Highly recommend.

Fiona is an amazing host, always caring and thoughtful, with clear and helpful instructions that made everything super easy for us. The place itself is beautiful, tidy, and honestly even better than we expected. It was the perfect cozy stop for our road trip, and all four of us agreed: it deserves 6 out of 5 stars! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The only small note is that we couldn’t use the garage for parking, so we just parked right in front of the backdoor. Thank you so much, Fiona! Would definitely stay again ❤️

What a stay! We absolutely loved our week, it was the perfect location for relaxing strolls along the beach and completely disconnecting from the world. The place was well appointed, had what we needed and was a pleasure to stay at. Bonus - the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

What a spot!! absolute beachfront, high up on the hill overlooking the beach. We booked for our wedding night, but hosts were flexible with an early check in so the bridal party could get ready. Don't book if you don't like listening to the roar of the ocean when it's windy, but if you find it soothing like us, then it's perfect! Nice stairs down to the sand, perfect for a walk, and a nice deck area. The undercover area with fire is so nice for that bad weather but wanting a cosy spot to relax. I have zero complaints, place was spotless, nicely laid out and great parking. We are local to the Pukehina area, but if we ever need to book somewhere there again, this will be first on this list!
