三上勘兵衛本店　―文化財「旧三上家住宅」の離れで江戸情緒を愉しむ―

京都府宮津市の史跡、「旧三上家住宅」の隣に有ります一軒貸しの宿です。 旧三上家は宮津城下において江戸時代より廻船業、糸問屋、酒造業を営み繁栄してきました。また江戸幕府の巡見使、明治期には有栖川宮熾仁親王、小松宮彰仁親王の宿泊先にもなり、現在は重要文化財として国の指定を受けております。その離れを宿「三上勘兵衛本店」として再生いたしました。屋号は酒造業をしていた当時のものとしました。その頃の雰囲気を残しながらオーナーが厳選した上質なフローリングやタイルを用い、1階リビングにはセレクトしたソファーやテーブル、バーカウンターを配置。ゆっくりと寛いでいただける空間を作りました。古来より多くの人を魅了した港町宮津にてその歴史、四季折々の移ろいを感じながら、上質な空間と共に暮らすようにお過ごしください。 ご宿泊のお客様に旧三上家住宅の観覧券をプレゼント！チェックイン日、チェックアウト日どちらでもご利用いただけます。是非お運びいただき江戸情緒を感じていただければ幸いです。 旧三上家住宅の営業時間は９：００～１７：００です。（入館受付は１６：３０まで） 年末年始（１２月２９日～翌１月３日）は休館です。

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
