Need a time away from everyday life with your significant other, just to relax & reconnect? Book one of our self catering eco-cottages on the farm. Peace promised with 50+ meters between cottages. Our cottages are self contained with hot tubs for the cold days, or use for cold plunge to cool off. Policy of no children allowed is in place. This is an adults retreat. Cellar Door on site open Mondays to Saturdays and occasional Sundays. Loaded platters also available to order at our cellar door.

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

The cattle farm itself spans 1,800 acres across the Tambo Valley. Our unique and remote location means that it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. We are located an hour from Dinner Plain & Mount Hotham as well as a stone’s throw from the Tambo River, Mitta Mitta and Cobungra Rivers.
