This is most definitely among the top Airbnb properties I’ve stayed in. The place is in a fantastic location. Great for all amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants etc but also in a quiet corner of the town. The property itself is great with two large bedrooms, one with a lovely ensuite, and a smaller room but still with double bed. The bed linen was as good as I’ve experienced in any top hotel and the place was spotlessly clean. The appartment is well kitted out with everything you could need and we were able to keeps our bikes inside, the communal lobby (Hazel also offered use of a secure shed). Hazel’s communications were great during the stay and beforehand when arranging the trip. There was absolutely nothing that could be faulted. Finally, the value for money was fantastic given the great location and high standard of property. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This was a great find, Louise made everything straight forward and responded to any question quickly. The house was ideal beautiful clean with all the equipment anyone could need. Louise even took our washing in when we got stranded overnight on Hoy. The location is good as you can get to any part of of Island easily. If I ever come back to Orkney I know where I will want to stay and it's at Louise place.

A beautiful apartment well kitted out and absolutely spotless. Some saucepan lids would have helped but otherwise excellent. The apartment is well placed in the centre of Kirkwall with a long-stay car park nearby. Kerry and Tara are excellent hosts, helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend this apartment for an Orkney holiday.

Central but quiet, lovely cosy wee place. Decent parking was tricky to find maybe add it into welcome pack but she was amazing when we locked ourselves out with keys and my phone in flat!

We stayed in the Loft. It was fantastic and cozy fireplace, full kitchen and comfy beds. There is a sweet cat on site always looking for a head scratch and just down the road is a standing stone, sandy (I’ll be it cold lol) beach, and ruins just behind the church. Stunning location and amazing owners. They really care about what they do and are quick with support and enthusiasm for the area. Would happily book this place again and again.

We had a wonderful trip that was enhanced by our accommodation. We were very central but in a quiet location. Everything in Kirkwall was within walking distance and it was also a good start off point for trips further afield. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Overall excellent and if returning to Orkney we would hope to stay there again. 😊

Great spot in the center of Stromness. Áine was responsive to questions… her pointer to the Ferry Inn for dinner was fabulous.

Great place to stay!! House is immaculate, well furnished, comfortable and we felt right at home. Great view from the landing window! Fab location for walking into Kirkwall town centre and also central if you're planning touring about the island in the car. I will be visiting Orkney again without doubt and I would definitely stay here again. Fab!!

A great place to stay, the apartment is very modern, clean and very warm. There is plenty of allocated parking and is close to all amenities. This is my second stay here and would book again for my next visit.

We had a fantastic stay, Alexander’s place had everything needed and was the perfect base for our exploration of everything Orkney had to offer. Alexander is a welcoming and friendly host, we would be happy to recommend Stromness apartments, thank you Alexander for a wonderful stay.

Bert’s apartment was excellent. It was even better in real life than on the pictures. We had two dogs and a toddler with us and were all very comfortable for the duration of our stay. Bert was an excellent host. Really friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend a stay with him.

This was a perfect place for us to stay. It was just 5 minutes from Stromness but in the beautiful countryside. The accommodation itself was warm and comfortable. We loved it there.

The flat is very well furnished with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It is in central Kirkwall (but it is very quiet) with easy access to the Cathedral, museum, shops and restaurants. Kirkwall is an excellent centre for exploring everything that Orkney has to offer.

Roadgrip are really grateful to Allison and Sammy. They kindly let us use the home while our operatives where working at Kirkwall Airport. They both were extremely helpful when we needed to extend our accommodation.
