Charming Hillside Country Home

This beautiful mid-century house was designed and built by my father. My husband’s parents, Amy and Bob, bought it from my parents’ estate and renovated it. It is filled with light, books and original art. Being inside feels like being outside. It is furnished much as it was when my in-laws moved out, with many of Amy’s paintings. It is not a new or fancy house, but it is authentic and quite a splendid example of mid-century architecture! I hope that you love it as much as I love to share it!

Welcome to Mehaffey House, a restored 1881 farmhouse beside the pastures of Mehaffey Farms in rural Warren County, Indiana. Renovated in 2026, it blends historic character with modern comfort. Hosted by “The Horses,” our three, fifth-generation boys, your stay supports the future of our family farm. Unplug (no Wi-Fi by design), breathe the country air, walk the land, and enjoy games or a movie from our DVD collection. Come, slow down, and reconnect and experience the beauty of Warren County.

The Walgamuth Lodge

Enjoy this beautiful spacious home designed by local architect Thomas Walgamuth. Located on a quiet 2 acre lot. Just mins from Purdue campus and downtown Lafayette. This home provides tons of amenities, including spa like master suite with private cozy sitting area with firplace, and game room for all ages, including arcade game, foose ball, xbox and more. This house is also located 27 miles for Purdue University and Ross-Ade Stadium.
