Heron Hangout- perfect for family and friends

The Heron Hangout is a newly renovated home with an astonishing view of the Willapa Bay. The 2466 sq. ft. house sits on 4 plus acres, secluded from neighbors for a peaceful getaway. The Willapa Bay has an abundance of wildlife; it is common to see Blue Heron, ducks, geese, eagles and deer. Boats and dredges used in the oyster and steamer clam industry go past as the tide goes in and out. Venturing out and exploring all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer is just a short drive away.

Our very comfortable one-bedroom 2nd floor condo (with elevator) is located in building 12 of the lovely Westport by the Sea complex on the beach in Westport. It has a view of the State Park and the lighthouse and is just a short walk to the beach and oceanfront pathway! No ocean view, but very handy to the pool/hot tub and clubhouse. The saltwater pool is heated but seasonal (Open mid-May to mid-Oct) while the hot tub is open all year. We always allow early check-in if the condo is ready!

Rock Lobster Cottage is in the heart of Ocean Park. A short walk to the Ocean Park beach access, Okie's Thriftway grocery store, and Jack's Country Store. Rock Lobster Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 with 2 ground floor bedrooms, and a large room upstairs with en-suite bathroom, all with queen sized beds. We have a smart tv that connects to our wifi for access to your streaming accounts and a dvd selection to choose from. Our little getaway sits on a dead end road surrounded by vacant land on all sides. Come sit by the firepit and relax! The main bedroom has a queen bed and the small bedroom has a bunk bed.

The Guesthouse overlooks a beautiful meadow that is often visited by deer, elk, heron and eagles. Both the beach and Leadbetter are 5 minute drives from Oysterville.

It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach.
