Very nice and clean! Loved the beach access and the pool!

Stayed here in early April. We loved that from the main floor we were able to see the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows and watch the dolphins. Loved the open floor plan on the main floor. You could see the view from everywhere. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you could need to make light lunches or full meals. The beds were very comfortable with quality matresses. Bedrooms had plenty of dresser space. The older kids enjoyed having a large space of their own on the lower floor to hang out, play games and watch movies together while the adults were on the main floor. Even though it was early for the season there was alot to see and do in the area and the pool was already open. We loved that we were able to walk off the back deck straight to the beach along a boardwalk. It made it so easy and convenient to go back and forth when you needed a break or just wanted to go out for a short time. This will be our first choice to stay again on our next visit.

Great stay for my family and two dogs. Ashley was quick and easy to text with. Ideal location. Easily walk to beach. Would stay again and hope to do so.

Place was comfortable and host was extremely responsive. Plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our two kids. We didn't find ourselves in need of anything. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the pool and nearby beach. Laundry room was a big plus. Definitely recommend a stay here! Thanks Michelle!!

This is our second time staying at Deb and Paul’s condo. The host is very responsive and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. It’s in a great location within A Place at the Beach. Our family loves it here!

A minute walk to the beach. Spacious colorful and clean place. Highly recommend for 7 people. The pool and hot tub for the community were never crowded and so clean. The community club room and surrounding space was awesome. Loved this place!

Michael, Jamison and team were amazing hosts! We stayed here for spring break with two little ones (8 and 4) and it was the perfect space! The bunk beds were perfect for them and the house was in a perfect location — walking distance to the beach and just a short drive to the fun! Will stay here again and again! Thanks again!

We had an excellent stay with our two dogs. The hosts are extremely nice and the house is very clean. The bed was comfortable and the walk to the beach was easy! Having the yard for the dogs was convenient and great to be next to a dog friendly beach. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our Spring Break so much. The location of this condo is close to shopping and dining and offers a private setting with beautiful views and uncrowded beaches. (This was April so that helped too)

Abby's place is great and perfect for our family! We really enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable and clean. We LOVED the ocean views! The kitchen had everything we needed (bonus for actual nonstick pans!) and the garage was stocked with things we could use for the beach. Abby was responsive, friendly, and helpful with communication. Abby has recommendations for the area here in her guidebook and those were great! We especially loved Dune Street Grill, Ashley's Espresso Parlour, Trio, and Surfin' Spoon Frozen Yogurt! And we tried Pony and the Boat and I Got Your Crabs from her guidebook - two other great spots. We'd also recommend Barrier Island Bagel for breakfast and we thought the pizza at Southern Shores Pizza was yummy.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. There are two public beach access paths just a few moments from the home. The location is close to the pier (~1 mile walk on the beach) and a few minutes drive to all the restaurants and attractions of Emerald Isle. I appreciated the welcome book with suggestions for the area. The house was clean, had plenty of linens and towels, and the kitchen had plenty of items to help cook "at home". This is a great place to enjoy a family vacation at Emerald Isle!

We needed to adjust the arrival and departure dates - because the home was available, Shirley responded quickly and was able to make the change we needed. A beautiful place with a responsive host and easily walkable to the ocean. Very clean place and great for the price. Shelly was very responsive to any issues we had during our stay. Be advised that if you come in the off season like us the clubhouse with hot tub, game room etc will be closed.

Cathy and Bob were amazing hosts. Their place was stunning tucked away in a cute little wooded area right close to the beach. They were excellent hosts and they were very quick to help us with anything that we needed. We would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our group! Just a short drive to the beach and close to great local spots and shopping. The process was user friendly and would definitely love to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rose's Airbnb. The place was clean and organized, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions for everything. Rose's attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. She generously provided a complimentary bottle of wine, along with a selection of drinks and snacks, which made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Her hospitality and thoughtful touches made our stay truly special. We highly recommend staying at Rose's place and would love to return in the future.

Short walk to the beach, with items to use from the house such as beach chairs. We had both areas of the house and were able to have meals together. The hosts are great to work with and responsive to any questions before we arrived. We had a great time!

This has been a long stay and although we weren’t at our home, we felt like it! They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I appreciate them for working with me and providing an extended stay for my son and I. Every place we travel to daily is within 10 minutes of the location which was perfect for us. I would recommend to stay here any day! Anything I needed or needed help with, they were easily accessible for assistance.

My wife and I were very impressed with Nathan and Wendy’s place, it wasn’t just cleaned it felt sanitized. Like there wasn’t a single germ in the place. Everything about the listing was accurate and even more accommodations than you expect. Being so close to Emerald Isle and the crystal coast, yet in a peaceful and safe neighborhood was a big deal and we found it at a more than reasonable price. The hosts were very responsive and had easy, clear instructions to follow. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area

This is my family’s 4th year at EI and the Pelican Plunge might be my favorite we’ve been to thus far. The location is wonderful. You can walk or park at the community’s private beach access. We always rent a golf cart so having one available for us to use was amazing. Similarly to other reviewers, it really did feel like staying at a friends place. The home was very clean (no weird smell like some places), comfortable and was the perfect setting for my family’s vacation. Also, the beds were so comfortable, I have never slept so well at a rental! Even though it’s 3 stories, the stairs weren’t an issue at all because they were broken up into half flights so it was perfect for my mother to handle with a bad knee and for my toddler. We also loved spending time on all the decks listening to the ocean and enjoying the sea breeze. Nikki was an exceptional host, communicating with her was a breeze and I knew I could reach out for anything. I’m so happy we stayed at the Pelican Plunge!

Lil Beachy was exactly as described. It was very clean, well organized, had everything we needed for our stay. Great location! We will definitely stay here again.
