The Historic Gillmor’s Coach House was designed and built by the Canadian architect Edward Maxwell in 1880 for Senator Daniel Gillmor and has remained in the family since construction. The original heritage as a coach house remains with sliding barn doors, and lathed pillars that divided the stalls.
