This place was perfect for a family vacation. The house: It was amazing. We loved the space. Everyone had a room with their own bathroom, all with amazing views. The house and especially the kitchen had every ammenity you might need. There was also a bbq, beach gear, and laundry. It was quiet and private. Cristopher was also very quick to respond to any questions. There is a steep driveway, but we were able to make just fine in standard rental cars. We loved just sitting out at night listening to all of the frogs. The location: For us, it was great. It is upcountry, so you do need to drive places, but it is 3 min from Akaka falls and about half an hour to Hilo and nice beaches. Honomu is close by and is a small quiet town with a few shops and resturants. If you don't mind exploring and getting a little muddy, there is even a small waterfall and pool that you can walk to from the house. We easily could have spent our entire vacation here and we'd love to come back some day!

We really enjoyed our time in Hilo. Richard's house was a great space for our family. Definitely a chill, summer house vibe. It had everything we needed, and the view out the picture windows was stunning. We loved the huge tree in the front yard. We spent a lot of time at Richardson Beach. Snorkeling was really great. We would love to return.

Had a wonderful day! Would absolutely stay again. The beach chairs and cooler provided were incredibly helpful! About 15 minutes to the beach in 45 minutes Mauna Kea.

Jacklynn’s place was a piece of paradise! The bungalow was spotless clean and and nicely decorated. The garden is full of fruit trees and flower, very big and so peaceful. We loved the jungle trail! It was so beautiful and private! We also enjoyed the hot tub! Jacklynn was a perfect host: responsive, kind and always smiling. We felt immediately at home and our daughter loved her nice dog! She also recommended some local restaurant. We definitely recommend a stay at Jacklynn’s amazing place!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It had all the comforts of being at home—very clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The bed was super comfy, and we especially loved the huge shower and the cold water refill tank, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The home itself and the large yard were absolutely gorgeous, offering a peaceful setting. The location is quite far out, so it feels very remote and serene, but it did make finding it at night a little tricky since there are no street lights. Thankfully, the host provided excellent directions, and we were able to find it without a problem. It can get a bit warm without much breeze, but the fans provided helped a lot. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

this was our second time stay with Patricia and it is our favorite place . you walk in the house and it feels like home. I have 2 young kids 2 and 4months and this place is perfect for them. my 2 year old can run around and I don't have to worry . the house is clean and very light feeling . they have everything you need in the kitchen and more.

Great place! 10/10, highly recommend! The condo looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean, modern, nicely decorated but minimal, and had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. The complex was quiet and felt very safe. The location was great. Having the air conditioner in the bedroom was so nice for a comfortable sleep and it was completely quiet. Both fans worked wonderfully and were silent. Overall, we had an amazing stay and we would definitely stay again. The only things that would make it better would be a TV in the bedroom and maybe a coffee table in front of the sofa. :)

Daryl was a great host always friendly and available when we need anything. house rules very clear, we definitely enjoyed their garden and open spaces. Beautiful sunrises and nice view from the room.

Mahalo for everything. I felt at home with Delia & Kim from the very beginning. Their loving nature and the effort they put into everything is extraordinary. I'll never forget the Big Island for several reasons, and staying with Delia and her family is definitely one of them. The location is worth its weight in gold for anyone seeking peace and quiet.
