I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and peaceful. Never had a problem with getting in contact with any of the host. Worth the stay for sure!

We have stayed in a LOT of Airbnbs before and this one took the cake, by far. The house had EVERYTHING you could think of. It was fully stocked - and not just with average items - but higher end items. The linens felt like a fancy hotel. The bathrooms were stocked with amenities. The kitchen had every gadget you could possibly need -- the knives were sharp, there were plenty of nice pans & pots, etc etc. It felt like someone lived there full time and was just letting us borrow it for a few days. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The first couple of days of our stay were rainy - but we were perfectly content relaxing inside. The fooseball table and provided games were loved by all --- the views are spectacular. My daughter even saw an otter at the bottom of the yard in the water. This was just the perfect place for a girl's weekend to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Staying at this lake house was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt an overwhelming sense of welcome and warmth. The house itself was beautifully maintained, with cozy interiors that made it feel like a home away from home. The view of the lake was breathtaking, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable, ensuring that every need was met and making me feel truly valued as a guest. Kiddos caught plenty of fish from sunup to sundown. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I can't wait to return!

My sister and I rented the Rabbit Hole during Thanksgiving week. Our families had the best time and would love to return next Summer when we can enjoy Hyco Lake. Heather, the host, was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful views from every floor. The kids loved the game room and the bunkbed room. The house is beautifully decorated and quite cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Heather and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A very quaint, peaceful lakeside retreat. We enjoyed staying here while visiting family in the area. Thank you for hosting us-we had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed: - kitchen - private road for a 2 mile run - great view of the lake - morning sun in the living room is gorgeous this time of year (Fall)

This Cottage is a hidden gem! Location is perfect and the pictures doesn't do justice. Our stay was simply awesome from easy check in and checkout process. Home away from home. Thank you! Will certainly check this Cottage availability the next time I am the area.

Mickey's place was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It was secluded, had an awesome lakeview, and had the most gracious hosts who have been married for 39 years! I am a public school teacher who teaches children with exceptional needs. I have been trying to get to the beach since Spring Break. My husband said, "Since you like to fish, have you looked for lakes?" So, I looked and found Mickey's spot. It was perfect! Two days before check-in, I fell at work and fractured my foot and possibly my knee. I bought vacation insurance and could have cancelled because it has stairs to the unit, but I was really looking forward to going. Mr. Mickey and his wife, Mrs. Ann, were very accommodating. They used their utility vehicle to take me down the path to the lake for a boat ride and to fish. Mr. Mickey even let me reel in a fish that was on his line so everyone caught a fish! I went back on the dock the next morning and caught one on my on line!😊 We look forward to our next trip back!

Retro-Haven was a lovely stay. It was clean, cozy, and very cute. Sylvia's place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, even snacks! The neighborhood is quiet and an quick and easy drive into downtown Durham; we used Lyft and never had a problem (and Lyft was the cheaper option). We would definitely stay at Retro-Haven again when visiting Durham and the surrounding area.

This place was magnificent, I've stayed at a lot of places and this was by far the best. Katie is a great host and was very proactive with all the information we needed and very attentive. Can not recommend this place enough!!

As someone who is "particular", I really appreciated the detailed directions for how to find the air bnb as well as all the little notes/tips left around the place. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. It felt lived in and functional, in a welcoming way, not in a messy way. More like it isn't just a show house. The unit was super cute and tidy. We loved the art around the place as well as the super comfortable couch. The room darkening curtains were appreciated as was the desk in the living room for the little work I did have to do while on vacation. There are 2 restaurants that are very walkable, a grocery store nearby as well being a short drive to the riverfront and numerous other restaurants. The location was close to Averett University (the reason we were here) and Ballou Park which is very peaceful to walk. If we are ever in the area we would love to stay here again. Super host!

This was a stunning, home-like retreat with cozy furnishings and great natural light on a private side street within easy walking distance of Duke's East Campus and downtown Durham. The hosts were quick to respond when I needed something. Often an Airbnb is in a great location but not that nice, or vice versa. This, for me, checked all the boxes. Highly recommend and hope to return.

This was the perfect spot for my trip to Durham for the Full Frame Film Festival. 5 minute drive to the Carolina Theatre. Cute neighborhood. Bed was super comfy, and the tea kettle helped immensely. Cozy and just what I needed. Would recommend and would stay again.

Jodi is a great host and was super fast in responding. The apartment was super clean and lots to do within walking distance. This was my second stay and I would come back again for sure.

This was one of my favorite Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The apartment was so clean, cozy, and cute. The bed was very comfortable and the little sun patio was really nice to sit out on. The location is unbeatable and within walking distance to so many things, including downtown. Elizabeth and Amy are incredible hosts. I can't say enough good things about this place and can't wait to say here again!

We had a great stay. Elliott’s place was exactly as described and was perfect for our couple’s night away. Elliott’s place was conveniently located and we were able to easily walk to great bars and restaurants. We would stay here again.

Kate’s place was neat, clean, comfortable, and had every thing we wanted. It served very well for my needs - to host my parents and my husband and I before commencement weekend. We also played board games and watched a movie - very thoughtful entertainment options for jet lagged people. The high ceilings of the apartment building and plenty of sunlight gave a feel of bright and well-lit room. We had a small issue with the bathroom flush and kate immediately responded and gave us a solution for it. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable stay. Will highly recommend!

This townhome was as good as you can ask for. Absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean with unique touches inside like a fish tank. Very safe neighborhood. Host was excellent. This was the perfect booking for a Duke game. If I’m ever in Durham again for a Duke game, I’d book here in a second.

The condo smelled fantastic right when we walked in…like an actually true clean smell and not a covered febreeze smell. Everything was very nice, clean clean, and perfect for our family. The beds were all super comfortable, the shower heads were amazing. Instructions were clear and the hosts were so helpful and responsive.

A frequent AirBnB guest at this location. Always a great option when in Danville for work.

Located in a great spot, right down the street from Duke University. It was nice to have a morning coffee and a walk around the park. Great space and responsive host! I definitely enjoyed first my trip to Durham and it wont be my last!
