We absolutely loved this home! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s full of charm and character—we didn’t want to leave. We booked for a week and spent two entire days just enjoying the house. The design beautifully blends modern comfort with historic charm. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—one of the best Airbnb kitchens we’ve seen! We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. George was a thoughtful host, leaving fresh fruits, snacks, juice, and a welcome bottle of raki. Bathrooms were clean and stocked; bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets, and even slippers—perfect for the cool floors. The outdoor space is a dream. We spent every morning and evening at the dining and pool area. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the friendly local cats. The lush greenery made it feel like home. Note: the road up is narrow and winding—classic Crete. It’s manageable (even with a big SUV), and the hilltop view is totally worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

A really great apartment, super close to the beach (aprox 50m), close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars. Everything you need is a few min away. The apartment was delivered super clean, in the fridge I had a cold bottle of water and a bottle of apple juice, fruits on the table and butter&honey. Christos was very proactive, I locked myself out of the apartment (closed the door with the key inside 🤦🏻), I wrote him on airbnb and he was there in 10 min to help me out. Overall, a great place to stay in Rethymno and a super host !!!

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. Every little detail—from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy, welcoming touches—made it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. One of the best parts was the very generous late checkout, which was absolutely perfect since we had a late flight and could relax without rushing—thank you so much for that! We especially loved sitting out on the balcony each morning with a coffee, taking in the view. It was the perfect way to unwind. We would come back in a heartbeat. La maison de Manolis est superbe, tout correspond parfaitement aux photos. C’est un endroit paisible et dans lequel on veut rester longtemps. Manolis est également un hôte très réactif et très bien organisé. Je recommande très fortement !!

Très chouette petite maison bien équipée. Vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, piscine partagée avec 2 autres maisons, quasi privée donc. La maison est très agréable, avec tout l'équipement utile pour des vacances agréables. Plein de petites terrasses, plein d'endroits où s'installer tranquillement et confortablement (y compris au bord de la piscine). Seul petit bémol peut-être: la douche est très petite et on se cogne facilement au robinet. Mais honnêtement c'est très vite oublié vu tout le reste! L'accès n'est pas évident le jour d'arrivée, quand on ne connait pas toutes les petites routes, mais on s'y fait vite. Et le calme et la beauté du lieu valent bien les 15 minutes de petites routes... L'hôte est charmant et super réactif, concernant la maison mais aussi pour des conseils de visite etc. Il y a avait même de petites surprises dans le frigo à notre arrivée (fruits et vin). En bref, magnifique choix pour des vacances!

Vi ankom midt på natten, og ble møtt av en hyggelig vert som serverte Raki og kake som hans mor hadde bakt. Vi har fått gode anbefalinger og hjelp fra George både før og under oppholdet, noe som har bidratt til ei flott ferieuke for en familie på fem på Kreta. Vi leide bil for hele uken. Det anbefales! Vi har satt spesielt pris på svømmebassenget og den skjermede private beliggenheten, samtidig som det er gangavstand til dagligdagse innkjøp. Tre sultne katter har vært litt vel nærgående. Det går bra, men vær litt forberedt om du er allergisk. Tusen takk til George og hans familie som fantastisk vertsskap! De har vår beste anbefaling, som vi også vil gi til våre venner og kjente her hjemme.

Bei Vagelis war das Ankommen wie in einem Zuhause, sehr gemütlich, sehr freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit, immer ansprechbar und unkompliziert. Wer Ruhe sucht der findet sie hier. Es ist für Ausflüge ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, nicht weit an den schönen Strand von Episkopie, leicht viele Tavernen mit dem Auto zu erreichen und schnell ist man auch in der Stadt Rethymno . Der Pool ist besonders groß und schön zum schwimmen, fühlt sich an wie ein privater Pool ! Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut, es gab immer frische Handtücher und wurde sauber gemacht. Es ist eine sehr einfache Unterkunft, aber sie bietet alles was man für das tägliche Wohlfühlen benötigt, ohne viel Schnick-Schnack. Besonders sind auch die Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge hier zu genießen - direkt vom Appartment hat man eine fantastische Aussicht auf die LEFKA ORI Berge und die Olivenplantagen rings herum.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.
