Marie was such an accommodating host, and so thoughtful! She proactively asked if any children were coming, if we needed any special requirements, and even left an Easter egg along with goodies for us on arrival ❤️ The apartment is very close to the station, but very peaceful inside. Felt at home right away. Plenty of games available - kids loved their first taste of Twister! Thanks again!

We came with a group of friends and a 2-year-old. The garden flat is stunning and surpasses the photos. Jane and Mark were so easy to communicate with and we really loved the small touches to make our check-in comfortable. They left a travel cot and some children’s books for our friend’s daughter. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely come back!

A brilliant stay - clean, modern and bright, and in a great location just above The Lanes. A vibrant bar outside and the rest of the city within walking distance. A great communicative host, contacted us early to offer early check-in. Modern rooms and amenities and a compact, calm environment. An easy stay and I hope to stay again!

Perfect spot for us as doing Marathon

Huge space, duplex home across two floors with large bedrooms, lounge and superb kitchen. Value for money was excellent considering it’s in the heart of Old Portsmouth. Perfect location!

From the booking to leaving, the process was so easy. The house was amazing, perfect for our family stay away for a wedding and it felt like home from home. The welcome pack was very well received and a very welcome visit from Mark to check everything was OK for us. It's these personal touches which makes Mark an outstanding host. If ever we need to stay somewhere in the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again

A clean house, good size garden, close to Hartland country park where dogs are also allowed- we had a great long walk, not crowded on Bank Holiday.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

We stayed across the 2 apartments as we had a big family get together. The location was perfect for access to the beach and high street. The balcony was lovely, but unfortunately we didn't use it much as the weather wasn't great. The kitchen, living area in flat B was perfect for us all to be able to eat and relax in. The beds were comfortable. The bedrooms are large, and with plenty of bathrooms. Perfect for our stay.

Perfect cozy little cottage that had everything we needed and more. The hosts are quite sincerely the ideal hosts for an Airbnb stay.

Lovely home suitable for families or groups. Very close proximity to the beach and 5-10 mins from East Wittering. We especially enjoyed the garden space and the open plan kitchen/living area. Esther was a fabulous host who made everything easy and straightforward. We had a lovely break over the May Bank Holiday.

The house was immaculately clean. All the equipment and furnishings were really well looked after and of good quality. Lovely bedding etc. There was plenty of ‘nice to haves’ such as lots of games, water sports equipment and bits and bobs in the kitchen. Would recommend as a base for a large family or two medium sized families away together. We were a group of 12 women celebrating and we all had comfortable accommodation. The garden was really peaceful and pleasant - we had our lunch one day on the patio. It’s a great location for very easy access to the beach and some lovely walks.

Beautiful apartment with amazing balcony and views to the sea. Lovely facilities and pretty good location only around 25 minutes from station and 20 minutes from The Laines. Bars, restaurants and shops at top of street within few minutes walk. Some noise from local pub (located across the lane but it was Friday night) but this dropped after about 11. Wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return. Thankyou!

L’appartement est parfait pour accueillir une famille de 4 personnes, il est très agréable et très bien situé : à 15 minutes à pied de la gare, de nombreux pubs, des boutiques et la plage à proximité. Les lits sont confortable et le quartier calme. Je recommande!

Deuxième séjour chez Philip au Old Photographic Studio. Tout s’est une nouvelle fois parfaitement bien passé, nous adorons le lieu et son atmosphère ! Philip est très accueillant et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Notre avion a eu beaucoup de retard et il était malgré tout là tard dans la nuit pour nous accueillir. Le logement est d’une propreté impeccable et parfaitement équipé, la vue sur la mer est fort agréable. Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner !

This was my fourth time to stay at Dan’s apartment & I keep on returning because it feels home from home for me & my partner! This time we were lucky enough to have supper at Busby & Wilds, which is only open from Thursday through to Sunday. We would definitely recommend eating there, but it’s a pity that it is only open at the weekends. Here’s to more stays at Flat 2, No 10, Sussex Square in the future!

Excellent with kitchen supplied with basics, which were not expected. Spacious facility. Towels, linen, bedding all excellent. Easy to get to Portsmouth tourism highlights and in a quiet neighbourhood.

The place was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was fantastic—close to everything. The host was amazing, going above and beyond with communication and even helping us book ferry tickets. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a really lovely, grownup and charming apartment. Laid back style that nevertheless is polished with all the little touches that make a stay memorable. It has everything you might hope for, the little balcony on the first floor is perfect for a quiet morning coffee with a view of the sea at the end of the road. The private terrace of the master bedroom was lovely for late night stargazing wrapped in the beautiful wool blankets provided. The lounge is cosy and the kitchen has everything you could ask for if you decide to cook at home. The bedrooms are great - just as photographed - and everything has a high-end polish throughout. Finally, the apartment was really quiet. Its proximity to the beach is a big bonus but its overall location, with lovely cafes an artisan bakery and corner shops is great. It’s ideally situated for an easy walk into town, or along the beachfront towards the pier. Thank you Renny - It was a great stay.
