Protea cottage is open plan family cottage with the heart of the cottage opening onto a wooden deck – the perfect spot to watch the setting sun. The cottage sleeps up to four people with one large open planned studio-style bedroom on the ground floor and an open loft upstairs with two single beds, just perfect for a family of 4. The studio design allows flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the lounge area and bedroom.

Mafube Mountain Retreat Garden Unit near Clarens

Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

Swartland House

Swartland House is a spacious fully equipped beautifully decorated house with a lovely open - plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. It has 5 bedrooms with 5 ensuite bathrooms. 4 Bedrooms have a king bed and the 5th bedroom has a queen bed. The veranda is a special place to enjoy your holiday from as it looks out over Mt Horeb mountain . The lounge is equipped with a beautiful fireplace. It has full premium DSTV. The main bedroom has it's own fireplace. There is space for 2 single mattres.

There are stunning views of Cathin Peak and Champagne Castle from the verandah of the cottage. Cathkin Estate has a multitude of bird and animal life, and there are numerous walks and cycle paths , to explore. Within a short drive, of the Estate, there are restaurants, golf courses, spa , monks cowl nature reserve, Falcon Ridge- Bird of Prey Centre, laundromat, shopping centre.

Rosehill Cottase is a self-catering cottage located in Clarens, Freestate .Located only 700meters from the main square,it is a wonderful holiday destination for hikers, mountain bikers as well as shopping in town with beer- and gin tastings. The cottage can accommodate up to 3 guests(2x Adults and 1x Child) and comprises of 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the couch is big enough for a child to sleep on.
