We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge. We enjoyed all the trails and the outdoor firepit. The lodge was awesome. Kitchen had everything you would want and then more. There were lamps on when we got there, and it was just so homey. It was very well stocked with necessities. We would definitely go back to this place.

Great place to spend our annual Thanksgiving/hunting trip. Cabin was beautiful and cozy! I would stay again and highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at Sister's Haven! It was the perfect place to stay for a nearby wedding - clean, comfortable beds and lots of space for getting ready with a big group. I really appreciated how they let us check-in early and were very communicative before and throughout our stay! I'd recommend Sister's Haven for any big group.

Such an adorable little cabin. We had a great time fishing and having bonfires. My 9 year old caught his first huge catfish off the dock the first night and during the day, we caught smallmouth. Very clean and cozy tiny cabin with everything we needed for some relaxation and fishing. The book selection at the cabin was unexpectedly perfect and such a cool perk. I wish I could’ve read all of them. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We hope to visit again.

Perfect location, right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend the cheesy potatoes at The Salty Steer & a visit to Tommy Too High's for a wine tasting to remember (hopefully😉🍷)

We (5 ladies), wanted a reasonably priced house on a lake with a pretty view to enjoy a weekend together. That is exactly what we got. The house is very clean and well stocked. The beds are comfortable. Jill is a lovely person and a good comunicator. The only surprise, that was a little bit of a bummer, is the access to the lake is down some steep steps, so if you bring a kayak or canoe, you have to carry it down the steps or let it down the hill and pull it up with a rope. Another option would be to put them in at the public access and paddle across or put them in Sturgeon Lake close by. Both Island Lake and Sturgeon are decent for fishing and paddling. On the plus side, the views from the house are beautiful, and the firepit outside is big with comfy chairs around it. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again.

This place is absolutely spotless inside!! Extra towels and blankets are provided. This home was great for my winter work stay. The heat works great, and the driveway and walkways were routinely plowed. I had a great stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking in the area.

Very nice place, close to many restaurants. We did some 4wheel and Canoeing. Was a bit tricky getting it down and up the long hill to the lake. Calm river, peaceful. We come to this area a lot. It’s a lot of fun.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Silvae Spiritus and could not have had a more magical time. We stayed in the tiny house and loved it from the moment we walked in. Everything in the interior was thoughtful and added to the peaceful ambiance. The windows give you great views of the surrounding nature. We did the Forest Bathing and Sauna sessions. Going in, we didn't really know what to expect and were excited and open knowing that others had said such positive things. Forest Bathing left us feeling relaxed, calm and connected. The Sauna session enhanced that, especially the physical calm. We had never done sauna in the cycle like that and it all makes so much sense now. We are a 3 hour drive away, but I'm sure we will be back again. If we lived closer we would visit frequently. Thank you to Leigha and Travis for being such great hosts and guides. They are very knowledgable and invested in your experience.

I loved staying here, the house was so private and peaceful, a beautiful area for walking and so relaxing to get some quiet time in the woods. Plus beautiful colored fresh eggs from the chickens! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful place hidden in the woods. Easy starting point for a day trip to Duluth or Brainerd with some great restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive.

Wonderful place to unplug and relax. Property was quiet, clean, comfortable and perfect for a weekend away. Highly recommend to anyone heading to this area!

My partner and I loved the dome! The bed is very comfortable and the location is relaxing. We arrived when it was dark and it wasn’t too hard to find as Linda’s instructions were clear. We’ll definitely be staying here again to enjoy the fall colors! :)

Really enjoyed this space, gorgeous lake view, with that up north feel! Peaceful and charming! What you'll find: Rustic cabin with amenities. Has a full kitchen, with WIFI, and spacious living space with dining table. Has a deck, grill-bring charcoal/lighter fluid. There's front entry for shoes/outdoor gear. There is also a fire pit-provide your own wood. Great space to use as your base to travel to adventures in the area. There is a dock on the lake. Nice rear deck, spacious yard and lake for swimming, expect to jump off a dock to swim. Quiet neighbors for the most part. Nice shower and bathroom. Definetly works for a family if you're looking to prepare your meals and have a space to do so, this is the place!

Generous gathering space served our family well. Joe was very responsive to an electrical outage and fixed the problem in 30 minutes from the call.

Had a wonderful time in this cabin! Beautiful surroundings, quiet and secluded. The place was exactly as described and the grounds were well kept. The rec room was totally worth it and we enjoyed time hanging out in there. The host was great. Very polite, knowledgable and quick to respond. Very highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Karin's place. She did an incredible job transforming and curating this cozy cabin with all the perfect decor and aesthetics. Had everything we needed and very clear instructions for everything. The nature was amazing and the weather was great for us. It was a great reset weekend. We would love to be back some day.

This gem in the woods is absolutely incredible. Great amenities, kitchen well-stocked with tools, and beautiful layout. The pre-visit document laid out all expectations, and the house was clean.
