We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

La location è immersa nella natura e molto riservata. La strada per arrivare può sembrare impervia ma in realtà è percorribile con una macchina non troppo bassa (ad esempio io con una Skoda Kamiq sono salito tranquillamente). Ottimo posto per godersi la natura e fare qualche grigliata tra amici!

Casa molto bella e spaziosa, tipica casa di montagna. Host molto attivo e disponibile.

We hadden een leuke tijd ondanks de weersomstandigheden! Heel hondvriendelijk! Onze pup van 5 maand en onze hond Jazz hebben zich kunnen uitleven in de tuin en omgeving en dit af en toe op een speelse manier met de leuke hond van Valentina! Valentina en haar man zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar indien nodig. Heel rustige omgeving en een mooie uitvalbasis in de natuur maar toch niet ver van Aosta. Wij hadden pech met het noodweer maar wij hebben genoten van de rust en onze uitstapjes. Wij hadden alles wat we nodig hadden en geen enkele vraag was te veel! Wij komen zeker terug!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un endroit très chaleureux. Laura s’est déplacée pour nous saluer et nous donner toutes informations nécessaires à notre installation et aux visites et restaurants a ne pas louper. Nous avons pu emmener notre saint Bernard qui a apprécié le séjour autant que nous. Il n’y aucun doute, nous reviendrons ! Merci pour tout!

Abbiamo passato qualche giorno in questa bella casetta con mio marito e i nostri due figlioletti. La casa è piccola ma con tutto il necessario e davvero tranquilla e accogliente. Panorama bellissimo. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare splendide giornate che ci hanno permesso belle camminate in zona. Grazie!

We genoten ten volle van onze week in Chalet La balma samen met onze hond Elvis. Je kan prachtig wandelen vanaf de chalet. De chalet is super in orde, gezellig en lekker warm. Marco hebben we niet ontmoet maar hij is een heel responsieve host en we werden welkom geheten door een lieve dame uit het dorp. Bij aankomst werden verwend met wijn, en veel lokale lekkers. Wat een traktatie. Wij hopen terug te komen naar deze bijzondere plek!

Host molto disponibile ad andare incontro alle esigenze del cliente. Casa molto spaziosa (sia negli spazi interni che in quelli esterni) ed in una posizione magnifica, immersa nel verde rilassante. Una meta perfetta per evadere dal caos della città.

Fantastic hosts, cosy apartment, delicious food. Very private in the beautiful forest, the distant sound of the river lulled us to sleep each night. Definitely be sure to eat a meal or two in the delicious restaurant!

Wir haben unsere Zeit im Häuschen von Cristina und Adolfo sehr genossen! Das Häuschen ist mitten in dem kleinen Dorf gelegen, aber durch Stallungen ist es dennoch sehr ruhig und ohne direkten Kontakt zu Nachbarn. Die Lage ist mit dem Ausblick und der Ruhe traumhaft. In dem Dorf sind vor allem am Wochenende einige freilaufende Hunde, das war für uns mit Hund etwas stressig. Unter der Woche ist es sehr viel ruhiger. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, sehr gut zu heizen und die Decken sind warm, sodass wir auch bei kälteren Temperaturen nicht gefroren haben. Cristina und Adolfo sind wahnsinnig herzlich und der Kontakt war toll! Sie haben uns vom Bahnhof abgeholt, sodass wir vor Ort kein Auto brauchten. Der nächste Supermarkt in Cambiasca ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, evtl. dann mit einer Wanderung durch den direkt angrenzenden Nationalpark Val Grande!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, paesino incantevole, molto bello e tranquillo. Consiglio a tutti. Francesca e i suoi genitori molto disponibili e accoglienti.

The hosts are friendly, proactive and quick to answer. The chalet is just as presented, with a very pleasant terrace, a nice view on the mountains opposite and many walking possibilities close by. A very enjoyable stay!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin in the mountains over New Year's Eve. The location was absolutely stunning—peaceful, serene, and completely free of tourists, making it the perfect escape for me, my wife, and our toddler. The cabin was clean, warm, and had a wonderful rustic charm, with a wood-fired oven that added so much coziness to our stay. It’s a simple and comfortable setup, ideal for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature without the distractions of luxury. A special thanks to our host, Massimo, who went above and beyond to take care of us. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and ensured that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere made this one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be returning!

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf . Mooie grote leefruimte en keuken maakten onze avonden top! Het was ook maar een kort ritje tot de ski lift . Enige opmerking: het bed boven in de mezzanine is niet echt een volwaardig bed (dunne matras op de grond ) .

Io ed i miei amici abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo weekend nello chalet. L'alloggio era pulito, ordinato ed aveva tutto il necessario per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno.

We rented the house in early march to ski and had nothing to complain about. The house is beautiful with a lot of history. Great place to stay with absolutely amazing views.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Laura war toll. Die Blockhütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Laura war immer erreichbar. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig (das Dorf hat ca. 45 Einwohner). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen. Gerne wieder...

What can I say: the chalet is enchanting and Margherita/Matilde are wonderful and responsive co-host. The chalet may not tick every single box in terms of modern comforts, but for a precious 600 year old building in a mountain hamlet it is incredibly well designed and equipped. We found it in immaculate conditions and equipped at a very high standard (no dish washer, but there is no space for it). Most things were provided for, rather than the bare empty cabinets one often finds. No central heating; the pellet stove is very cosy and warms up the place very nicely, but it needs to be turned on and off (no time programming). The location is equally enchanting, but it’s a vigorous trek up, so it may not be for everybody. I was moved the moment I walked in, so magical is the place, and felt right at home. It may not be for everyone, but it certainly made me and my family feel privileged to be able to share in its history, beauty and warmth. Thank you Virginia and Margherita!
