Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

Our stay in this magnificent cabin was nothing short of magical—it truly felt like we were living in a movie scene! While the listing description was flawless, the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin is even more breathtaking in person, offering a pristine and serene escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Incredible stay at an incredible house. We traveled from Moab to Denver and decided to stop at Alpenglow before heading to the city, and we are so glad we did! We saw beautiful country on the drive up and got to explore a bit of the surroundings and local towns. But really it was just so nice to spend time in a house that is well loved. Christine was an impeccable host - we appreciated the fast and thoughtful responses. Definitely would love to return if the opportunity arises. Thank you!

This Airbnb definitely made our stay worthwhile. It's a perfect blend of coziness and peace. The view from the back is truly breathtaking. The hot tub and views are a bonus for me. They have everything you need to feel like you're at home, including first aid kits, kitchen supplies, and more. We had an incident with our dog, and the owner was amazing, responsive, and understanding, helping us solve the situation. I am definitely looking forward to coming back.

We loved staying at this cabin!! The hot tub was awesome in the snow, the bedding was incredibly cozy, and the kitchen was loaded with tools and basic ingredients. Good location for buena vista and cottonwood hot springs. It feels like someone’s family vacation home vs a soulless rental— the best air bnbs have junk drawers! Would definitely stay again.

Jodi's place was great! We got to check in early and the views were amaing! Our toddler loved the loft bedroom! Would stay again!

This cabin was just absolutely beautiful and we were lucky enough to rent on a spring weekend with a surprise snow storm! The place was clean, spacious and has breathtaking views! The little welcome basket was a very nice touch. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for all the good meals we had planned. Fairplay is super close and Breck was close enough that we went for lunch. Russ checked in to make sure everything was OK and we had what we needed. Check out instructions were very reasonable!

This was my first time using Airbnb. It was a great first experience. The property is tucked into the forest so that you feel in nature. We stayed 5 days and wished it was longer. The wood burning stove as well as the wood burning fireplace were great and the large deck was perfect for cornhole and just relaxing. The owner, Keegan, responded in minutes when messaged, and provided all the information needed.

Very quaint! Quiet and peaceful cabin, stocked with everything you need. Our dog loved the fenced in yard! Would stay again.

My family and I had a great time staying at Clarissa's place! It's located just a short drive outside the town of Salida, and is both peaceful and private. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, there were tons of games for the kids, and the cabin was very clean. We spent our weekend going on hikes, fishing the Arkansas river, and enjoying what nature had to offer. 5 out of 5 stars for sure. We'll be back! PS: She has an excellent vinyl collection that I strongly recommend checking out.

We (two, overworked Denverites and a dog!) had such a wonderful weekend here! It was so beautiful and peaceful - there are a handful of thoughtful little congregating areas around the property, like the fire pit and the hammock and bench swing. The place felt just like home and it had everything we needed. There’s so much more space than appears from the listing, which makes it easy to hang with people while doing your own thing. We particularly loved the super comfy couches!!!! We didn’t try the hot tub, but I LOVED that there were robes left for it! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook yummy meals. There is a lot of space which makes things easy. Just overall a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back again and again!!!

My family stayed at the cabin for Christmas and loved our time there. Getting there was easy because of the clear directions provided. We maxed out the capacity between adults, a 1 year old and 2 dogs but the lofted master and open 3rd floor loft weren’t an issue since we were all awake at the same time. The main floor was perfect - we cooked all our meals there, ate together at the dining table and all hung out comfortably in the living room, they even had a tree & garland up for the holidays which was nice. A few things to note if planning to cook, the dishwasher is in rough shape and doesn’t clean all the way so we had to hand wash dishes when we arrived as well as throughout the stay. The freezer doesn’t quite stay cold so we had ice cream & ice cubes that melted. Overall it was a beautiful area and communication with Barb & David was great, they were so responsive before, during & after. We’re so happy we chose to stay here & made such fun memories as a family.

Very nice home nestled in the tree line at base of Mt. Yale. Very quite and peaceful area and close to Buena Vista and local attractions. Host provides a thorough welcome book provided prior to arrival that has all the information needed along with suggestions for local restaurants and other area offerings. Would recommend for those looking for quiet away from the crowds and in a beautiful setting.

We had a great time at Brian’s cabin. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for everyone, fully stocked kitchen and upgraded bathrooms. The view from the deck is top notch. Everyone in the family gave it 5 stars! We enjoyed the history of the family as well. The directions were easy to follow to get there. The locals are super friendly as well. We would come back!

This was a great place to recharge - it's very remote and quiet and it's surrounded by wildlife and beautiful mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed the home. It was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the shape of the house, very unique. The location was perfect for traveling to Vail and Leadville.

We loved staying in the cabin! It had a cozy decor and rustic elements. There was also a great view of the mountains, and the property was quite big and full of bird activity. We were surprised to find a microwave, and the kitchen was well stocked. Jessica and Walter provided everything you needed to start a fire in the stove, which was great for us as beginners. The neighboring towns, Leadville and Buena Vista are both very charming and easy to get to. Our trip was mainly for hiking in the area, and Twin lakes itself has lots of wonderful hikes within a few minutes of driving from the cabin. Would highly recommend!

Me and my husband stayed here for our elopement in Aspen! The cabin is quaint and perfect for two. It’s a peaceful area with the maroon creek running down from it. The host was also very accommodating and kind to our needs! The only thing I would change is the bed! It was pretty stiff and could use a mattress topper for comfort. We would love to revisit this spot, as it holds very special memories for us now.
