Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life .Perfect retreat to relax and read Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.di

The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed is part of The Grey House circa 1904, 129 Ridge Road, Scotts Landing on the edge of the Mahurangi River. The space was house potting shed and laundry and has now been repurposed to create a magical memorable space with singles and couples in mind to have space to relax and get away from noise and day to day pressures. Located 20 minutes from the Matakana and gateway to Omaha, Goat Island, surrounding vineyards and galleries. Please note access to a loft bed is by ladder.

Easy driving distance to beaches, bush walks, kayaking & the famous Puhoi pub. Or simply relax, enjoy the birdsong, views, sunsets, a coffee or wine on the deck, star-gazing. Well set up for self-catering with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave. Cosy wood fire in winter. Hosts live nearby and are very happy to provide any help.

Braemar Cottage - new, peaceful, stunning views!

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Twin Palms Beach Unit

Unique studio unit. Separate to main dwelling with own access and self contained. A lovely light and airy space originally designed as an artists studio. Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

Tranquil rural getaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Warkworth and Matakana, but with the Te Aroroa trial (500 metres) and countryside on your doorstep. Less than 10 mins to Warkworth, 15 mins to Matakana with its vineyards & markets, close to Omaha beach and the beautiful Tawharanui Peninsula. A great base to explore this incredible area and then relax after a busy day of hiking, beaching & enjoying the local hospitality.

Views and convenience at Snells Beach.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Omakana Cabin – Scenic Farm Stay w/ Sleepout

Wake up in a world of serenity at our guest-favorite Cabin with a new sleepout - perfect for extra guests or remote work. Nestled on a scenic farm between Matakana and Omaha Beach, enjoy a king bed in the main cabin, queen bed and desk in the sleepout, tasteful decor, and modern amenities. Unwind on the private deck or explore the farm. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, or digital nomads. Sleepout is available for bookings of 3+ guests.

Stones throw from the beach.

Only a quick walk to the beach and Manly village there is plenty to keep you occupied and a great choice of places to eat and drink. The bay is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, stand up paddling, windsurfing, sailing or just relaxing. Manly Sailing Club is across the road and hosts many regattas. The open plan studio is new and beautifully finished, located above the owners garage with a separate entrance.

Orewa by the Beach - Coastal living

Centrally located at the heart of the famous Orewa beach in the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland region, 200m distance from the surf beach and 350m from the entrance of the 8km estuary walk/cycle way. The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.

Tranquil cabin close to Matakana and Warkworth

Wake up to birdsong at this private and quiet getaway, that has plenty of nearby activities and attractions. Visit the local vineyards, markets, restaurants, beautiful beaches and local walks. The cosy cabins are less than an hour North of Auckland tucked away at the base of the Dome Valley reserve which is 5 minutes drive from Warkworth and 15 minutes to Matakana.
