Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Welcome to our comfortable refurbished one bedroom ground floor apartment. We have recently undertaken a further upgrade to improve the property, replacing the bathroom, flooring and putting in fire doors. The flat, is not only located in Keswick’s town centre, it has the advantage of private off street parking, with amenities and shops, including the wealth of restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk away. For guests who prefer to cook, we have provided a wide range of kitchenware.

The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Changeover days are typically Monday and Friday. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. 10% discount for full week bookings.
