Licensed restaurant, Captain’s Table offers local sourced ingredients to make sure all the dishes are homemade and freshly cooked. Make yourself at home in this ground floor double en suite room with king-sized bed. This room has its own entrance at the rear of the building and once was a Victorian stable block. Luxuriate in the en suite bathroom which has a vaulted ceiling with skylight. Lounge in the small patio garden, which has a table and chairs. This makes it an ideal room for pet dogs. Dogs welcome! Pet-friendly room with garden patio. Bring your dog for a small charge of £10 per dog per night, max 2 medium dogs.

James Hill - Four poster with balcony / family

Enjoy this romantic first floor en suite hotel bedroom that faces the front of the building. Double doors open onto a charming Juliet balcony that lets in plenty of New Forest morning sun. The king-sized pine four-poster bed is hand-carved, making this an ideal room for your romantic getaway. This room also suits families with children, but please be mindful there is a Juliet balcony so extra vigilance is required with smaller children!

Discover the amazing oak headboard from a huge oak tree created by artisan Rob Dyer from a tree that fell in a New Forest farm. It took four men to carry it into the building. The Verderer’s Rest is a ground floor hotel room with a view of a small courtyard. The room has a zip and link bed that can be set either as a twin or 6-ft-wide double. Tell us your preference when you book.

Standing Hat - Four poster family

Treat yourself to a stay in this front-facing romantic ground floor four-poster bedroom. The room is constructed from local Douglas Fir and has bamboo flooring. Your king-sized four-poster bed is made by the designer and artisan Rob Dyer from a beech tree felled in Brockenhurst village. This is one of the most sensual rooms you will find at our New Forest hotel.

Relax in this first floor en suite bedroom which is full of character with lovely, locally-sourced wood surfaces, and is ideal for a romantic break. Luxuriate in the four-poster bed, which was specially made from a single Ash tree by New Forest designer and artisan Rob Dyer. It looks beautiful and smells amazing.
