Full kitchen opens onto large living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace. The best location on the property is definitely the 1100 sqft deck. It is perfect for relaxing in the shade or sun, grilling dinner out, and dining under the stars all while enjoying the lake view. House is located on Possum Kingdom's peninsula. Boat ramps, restaurants and grocery store are all 5-10 minutes away. Located in the heart of Possum Kingdom's award-winning hike and bike trail system (see map under photos) with scenic lookouts over Possum Kingdom lake and the Palo Pinto Mountains. Embrace the bucolic lifestyle of this quaint cabin that’s adjacent to a pasture and pond. When weather permits, we have a fire pit you may use to make S’mores right in front of your cabin. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door! (Times for breakfast delivery are from 8:30 to 10am, just let me know:)

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.
