Located near Cooper's Rock state park, boating or skiing at Deep Creek Lake, kayaking on the Sandy River and Ohio Plyle for rafting, biking and hiking. Short drive to Screech Owl Brewery and for terrific craft beer and great food. 30 minutes from the WVU football stadium excluding football traffic delays). Approximately 25 minutes from Cheat Lake. NO pets or smoking allowed. No air conditioning but fans in all bedrooms.

Coopers Rock Retreat

Industrial farmhouse studio apartment nestled in the hills of West Virginia. Located just 15 minutes to downtown Morgantown and only 5 short minutes away from Coopers Rock State Forest. Spectacular landscape views from dusk to dawn and breathtaking star gazing on clear nights. Guests have their own private entrance to come and go as they please, a full kitchenette to make home cooked meals while on the road, large bathroom with walk-in shower, queen size bed, and an extra long single futon.

Our tiny little cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking for a remote getaway with beautiful sites, some fabulous fishing, or riding your side by side through the mountains, this place is in the heart of it. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

Come spend your time at this peaceful oasis from modern day life. Secluded in the hills of Terra Alta with direct lake access with 5 kayaks on site and a private dock allowing access to the water at any time, water that does not permit engines on for peace and quiet. Enjoy the tranquility of the house and the lake, or you can access any of the local attractions in a short drive. With all the nearby attractions, and the privacy allotted you can enjoy your time away any way you decide to.

As seen on HGTV. This non-smoking tiny house is close to Sunset Beach Marina and the Lakehouse restaurant. Quiet setting. Views of lake and marina from the deck. New loft air conditioning unit added in May 2022. No more than two guests per tiny house. Beautiful outdoor deck with propane grill. There are many walking trails close by which include the Botanic Gardens and Coopers Rock State Park. It is a perfect location to be away from all the downtown hustle and bustle but still be a short drive from the football stadium for gamedays!

The Homestead

Escape to this modern log cabin in the woods of West Virginia. Situated on the West Virginia-Maryland border, it was built in 2016 and offers a reprieve from city living. It is isolated (no window treatments; see photos) and features a light-filled open master bedroom loft, large shower, two additional bedrooms, and a hot tub. You are completely secluded in the woods, yet it is only 30 miles from WVU's Mountaineer Field and 13 miles from Wisp Resort. We hope to host you!
