Our group of four loved our stay at this incredible home and property! Very private and serene with lots of wildlife visits. Spacious yard and great sunset views. We felt right at home. Jim was very helpful with local recommendations. This property is perfect for exploring the local area and will be our first choice when we return!

Jenna was a wonderful host! she was very responsive and her place looked just like the pictures. It was very clean, had clear instructions for check in/out, and a good atmosphere to it!

Fantastic spot for Iroquois Amphitheater shows! Super clean, super accommodating, and there is always soy sauce in the cupboard. Well done!

This was our second stay at John’s home and, again, we were very pleased to be able to stay here again while visiting family in Louisville. John was very responsive when needed and worked with us through our travels woes with our next destination. John is a most gracious and excellent host and the home is just as amazing. Kara’s place exceeded expectations. The photos were accurate but the house was more spacious than the photos could convey. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenage boys) were very comfortable. We had breakfast in the house each morning and cooked a full dinner there as well. Kitchen had everything we needed. (Bonus points for full drip coffee maker, as I am not a keurig fan..) location was great, nice and quiet but a nice easy walk to Bardstown Road. We had no difficulty parking on the street. Great place for large groups. The 2 house setup allowed for loud kids in 1 space, and sleeping babies in a separate space, which was perfect for our group. Linens are soft, and beds are comfortable. The game rooms and accessories are a great bonus to have.

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

This location was great in relation to walking to the Corydon Downtown District. I arrived on the the weekend of the Walk and Wine Tour which was awesome. I've never been to Indiana before and this was a great choice for a weekend stay. Cory was very pleasant and helpful. The Den was clean and the amenities added to the experience. I had a wonderful stay with Bethany. She was responsive and understanding of anything I asked. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was clean as well. I appreciate her letting me stay in her air bnb. I would definitely rebook with her.

Marrianna was a wonderful host and great with communication. She was able to accommodate our late check in and was helpful with recommendations and making sure we didn't need anything. The house was as described and we appreciated that it was so reasonably priced. We'd stay here again if we're in the area.

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

We have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back soon. I love the peaceful outside surroundings. The deck and fire pit are my favorites but we explored the wooded area for the first time this visit and it was beautiful! We were there during severe weather and Lee Ann even offered to let us come to their basement if we were worried. I cooked several meals in the cabin and had everything I needed. She even had a coffee grinder for our coffee beans…but if you prefer pre-ground coffee or keurig, she has that too! Seriously love that this place is only 45 minutes from home but is such a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Louisville. Thanks again, Lee Ann! We will see ya soon!

Absolute stunning house. It was great with the group of 14 people we had. Everyone had plenty of space and lots to do. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely like to come back again.

The Captains’ Cabin is a cozy and comfortable place to escape one’s routine. Our hosts provided an unexpected welcome tray and had the fireplace ready to light. An amazing, historic home beautifully redone.

We stayed one night here during our travel, so much easier with a group than a hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very peaceful surroundings, easy check on,and easy communication.
