There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. The location gives opportunities to visit South Iceland such as Thorsmork and ferry to Vestmann islands.

A cozy new private apartment at a family farm in the South of Iceland. Great location for all the main sites in the region. Views of Eyjafjallajökull from the farm, 15 minutes from Seljalandsfoss, waterfall, and 25 minutes from Skógarfoss, waterfall. Only five minutes from the ring-road and 90 minutes from Reykjavík. The family has been running the farm for three generations, with horses, cows and sheep. The apartment consists of a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen.

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

The cottages are comfortably designed to make you feel home away from home and to enjoy the amazing nature that the south coast of Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.
