Adorable 1930s log cabin located between the Wild Basin and Longs Peak Areas of Rocky Mountain National Park, 3 mi to Allenspark and 12 mi to Estes Park where there are many restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, +. 1 BR (queen bed), 1 loft BR (queen bed), small bathroom w/ shower, fully outfitted kitchen. The living room is bright with a vaulted ceiling and includes the dining area and fireplace. Stargaze in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoor picnic area. Well behaved pets are welcome.

Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. A two acre property adjacent to Devil's Backbone Trail Head and surrounded by public county open space on three sides. The rock formation behind the cottage surrounds the property with privacy. The host, a nationally known western landscape artist, has his studio in the barn on the property. The main house is an historic structure built in 1920's. The Cottage has all of the amenities for a luxurious stay in the Colorado foothills, 26 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.
