The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. Relax in front of the warm wood burning fireplace, enjoy the abundant bird life from your private deck, soak in the antique clawfoot bath, and lose yourself in the celestial clerestory views. Soak in the outdoor bath as the sun sets over the picturesque mountains, and enjoy the spectacular night sky as you toast marshmallows by the fire pit. Pick organic herbs and veg from the garden for your dinner and enjoy exclusive use of the tennis court and cabana. Wave to the cows, and admire the award-winning miniature horses and sheep on the neighbouring farm.

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the many varied feathered friends that call this place home in addition to wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas and even the occasional koala. Some of the more regular visitors being a variety of honeyeaters, yellow robins , king parrots , rainbow lorikeets and fairy wrens.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Belltree Ridge - Private Rural Escape

Belltree Ridge is an absolute treasure in a stunning location. It is an extremely unique hand crafted homestead built from reclaimed and local timber. It offers complete privacy and is just 11 kms from the township of Maleny. For winter comfort, a wood burning fireplace and for summer an outside fire-pit . We also have ducted air-conditioning and heating. We now have Starlink Wi-fi but will happily turn it off so guests can really disconnect from their busy lives.
