The Barn - Central Richmond with parking

In the heart of Richmond our two floor renovated barn makes a great base for touring the Yorkshire Dales. This relaxed space stands in a courtyard off the top of Frenchgate, one of the town's best-known ancient cobbled streets. It's a peaceful spot only a few minutes' walk from the market square with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Free parking (one car). We provide you with the basics to get you started (coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter etc). Towels, shampoo and bedding also provided.

Cozy one bedroom Cottage with log burner; located just down the hill from Richmond Market Place. One bedroom upstairs. Kitchen, diner and lounge are all the same area with a sofa bed on the ground floor. Underfloor heating downstairs. Bedding and towels are provided for guests. Plenty of walks directly from the cottage the river being just around the corner. The castle walk is 2 minutes away. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Richmond has everything you need for a fabulous break.

A cosy and compact space with modern amenities for weary travellers.1 minute walk across the green you can choose from 3 traditional Yorkshire pubs, 3 cafes 2 bakeries and 2 small village shops. Not forgetting the amazing ice cream parlour. Lots of activities available from walking cycling canoe and paddle boarding. Also a great Dales bus service to access the nearby towns of Richmond & Leyburn.

Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

We offer a place of perfect tranquility and that longed-for country escape just for two. The last few miles of your journey to the sleepy Hamlet of Hurst should give you a glimpse of the stunning scenery you will be enjoying for your stay. Tucked away at the end of a track you can be assured of peace and quiet.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Christmas Cottage, Gunnerside, Yorkshire Dales

CHRISTMAS WEEK AVAILABLE due to cancellation. Traditional Dales cottage, cosy and full of character with beams, stone fireplace and logburner. Ideal for a couple or family. Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome. Gunnerside is a picturesque huddle of grey stone cottages with a beck gurgling through the village to join the River Swale. This welcoming village offers a pub and tea room. Enjoy walks in all directions from the doorstep, through some of Swaledale’s most spectacular scenery.

The Garth: A Swaledale Panorama

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: horse riding, mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms . It is a lovely place to stay for couples, walking groups and families with kids. APRIL-OCTOBER: FULL weeks, FRIDAYs ONLY. Rest of year, shorter breaks any day .

The Old School

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.

There's a patio area to the front where you can sit and enjoy the views. With a large fireplace and stunning scenery over the countryside, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. Suitable for couples and families.

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
