We were driving home to Florida and we needed a last minute place to rest before we completed our trip from Tenn and it was very accommodating and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.

My family & I stayed at Jacklyn’s cabin & it was absolutely amazing. The animals, the nature, the scenery- 5 stars!! Plus the stars in the sky & the fireflies(lighting bugs) really tied it together at night! Plus Jacklyn is super understanding & nice, one of the bests hosts! We will definitely be back! I recommend this place to everyone who needs a peaceful getaway!

What a beautiful home! The house was so inviting and had plenty of room for our family of 8. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever experienced! We forgot few things but they had some available (body wash, extra towels etc). The kitchen was stocked with pots pans silverware, everything you would need! overall my family had a great trip! Thank you!!!

The Turner House and property are absolutely beautiful—a true peaceful getaway spot. We met my parents here to avoid a severe weather threat in our state and stumbled upon a gem! Emily is a fantastic host—friendly, quick to respond, and accommodating. We were especially grateful that dogs are welcome. One of the many perks was stargazing under the clear skies and having cows as our neighbor! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and soaking in the tranquil farm atmosphere. The house itself is clean and has that warm touch that makes you feel like home. As a side note there are two towns roughly 15 miles away (give or take) if you need groceries or want to grab a bite to eat. As a bonus, Emily provides a coffee maker with coffee (thank you for that!). We’ve already booked our second trip and can’t wait for another family gathering at the Turner House!

Clean and simple space with lots of room. Big master bedroom, great kids room. My daughter loved the bunk beds. Dated kitchen but had everything we needed for our short stay. Could have used some more blankets, it was chilly for Florida. The only weird thing was that the thermostat in the unit also controlled the temperature in another unit next door. We were very apprehensive about adjusting it, but we like in colder, what if the neighbor wants it warmer? Because it was pretty cold while we were there we were not sure if we should leave the heat on when we left. It was just an odd detail that made us think more than we wanted to. Overall, great place, great location. Try not to obsess over the thermostat like we did.

Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. If you do not mind deer and turkeys wandering around the property, this is the place for you. It's a simple life kind of place. We love it!

Our visit to Melissa’s place never disappoints us! Our family loves our stay here! The grandchildren have fond memories of their time here and they look forward to our next visit! The farm is beautiful and we all enjoy the opportunity to feed the animals. In particular, the children love playing with the dogs! Thank you Melissa for all you do to make our stay memorable! PS. We had a bonus during our stay! We met your son and daughter in law and enjoyed sharing some time with them!

There were 9 of us that stayed at Michelle’s for Christmas in order to spend the holiday with our family who own a small farm in Mayo. We spent the majority of our time at the farm but slept at Michelle’s. We enjoyed the expansive porch, with coffee, in the morning and then again in the evening when we returned from the day’s activities. It was perfect for our needs. It is peaceful and serene and I believe all of us that stayed would have loved to enjoy the home more, if we had more time. The acreage is great and our dogs had a ball. The doggie doors were definitely a plus. Thank you for a comfortable stay.
