We had a lovely stay in Blyth. The flat is clean, extremely well equipped, with easy parking. We stayed with our two young children and they loved exploring the brilliant park across the road from the flat. We also appreciated how child friendly the property was. It was the perfect base for visiting family and we would definitely stay again.

Scott was informative and helpful before our visit and checked in with us the next morning The house was perfect for our needs , clean and everything worked as required The area was beautiful with beaches and walks nearby

Wow what a beautiful little find. The surroundings are just as beautiful as the place. Attention to detail with this property, felt like home from home. We enjoyed the real fire, the bedding was lush and the bath was to die for 🥰

An absolutely beautiful air BnB in a beautiful location. There’s views of the sea from the property and property itself was stunning. Stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was the perfect relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and roomy bathrooms (two of them contained both a separate shower and bath, one half bath upstairs). Would love to come stay again <3

Beautiful seaside apartment. Great base to explore the area. Host was very communicative about check in. The welcome book on arrival was a great help for the local area. The apartment was spotless and had a great set up. Especially liked the small selection of games for entertainment. Will definitely stay here again if available when visiting the area.

Another letter cancelled our booking on the day of our stay which had been booked for over 2 months. Not ideal when you have 5 people travelling 240 miles that morning to spend long weekend in Newcastle to attend a gig. Colin was able to accommodate us at his property and the previous cancellation was a blessing in the end! Colin's communication when booking and throughout the stay was excellent, helpful and proactive. The property is in a lovely area and was much better than the original property we had booked. Nothing negative to say about Colin or the property.....highly recommended for anyone needing accomodation in the area.

After the taxi dropping us off at the wrong place Melanie was very quick in answering my call & sending me local taxi details explaining where to go. the house was lovely, easy check in, nice & cosy. Had everything we needed for our short stay. beds were comfy, house was lovely & clean. There was games for the kids.. My favourite part was having a coffee in the garden so peaceful. Will definitely book again. thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.
