What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

I found Braxmere Lodge very clean and comfortable in quiet and traquil location at southern end of Lake Taupo. Felt safe and private. Friendly staff. Stunning views. I will stay again.

The room is located in a pretty old building, but it is well maintained, equipped and very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Located just in the heart of National Park village provides easy access to store, restaurants, bus shuttle and walking tracks. The rooms at the top level offer an amazing view on the volcanoes.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Dave's, the hot pool and pool table were a stand out for us. There's also so much to do in the area, we barely scratched the surface, 100% would visit again.

A lovely little place sitting in the beautiful scene. Really enjoyed the time.

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Nueva Zelanda 😍 Todo muy limpio, bonito y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia estupenda. Hay mucho espacio para poder colocar dos maletas grandes sin que molesten, un baño grande y lo mejor es la cocina, con todo tipo de utensilios muy bien cuidados para poder cocinar. Además había muchas opciones para desayunar, todo muy bueno. Pudimos hacer la colada y hay una zona de terraza vallada para el alojamiento, todo muy bonito. Sher y Carty han sido encantadores con nosotros, siempre pendientes de que todo fuese bien, interesándose por nosotros y dándonos recomendaciones. Sin duda un sitio para repetir, hemos salido de allí encantados.

Vanessa’s place was exactly as shown in the pictures - beautifully decorated and pristine. The view from the property is stunning and it is in a very quiet area. Perfect for accessing Lake Taupo and the Tongariro national park. As described, cooking facilities are limited but Vanessa left some very welcome goodies. Highly recommended.

The place is cozy and quiet amidst the farm surroundings. Can stargazing at night. It’s just few minutes drive to Okahune town for food. Delighted for the breakfast provided by the host. Even got homemade Greek yogurt. We love the place.

We had a most lovely stay at Gail’s place. Everything about it was A+ and fresh and new. Styled so nicely and with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Also included breakfast treats of fresh fruit, O.J, granola yoghurt and toast. The bathroom is beautiful and the shower was great. We only had one night as we were there for a summer concert and Gail very kindly dropped us back to our vehicle that had been left in town for the night. There is also an inviting looking 2 person hot tub off the main bedroom that we never got to soak in so we shall just have to come back another time. Thank you Gail and hubby and puppy dog for your excellent hospitality 😁

Lovely accomm in a lovely part of the world. Debbie’s place was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Having a fully fenced garden made life so much easier with a dog! It was also such a treat to be able to park in the garage and access the apartment from there. Debbie had helpfully provided some information on eateries and dog walking areas nearby. I would definitely stay here again. Motouapa has a lovely community and marina, and any excuse to visit again would be welcome. (As an aside, the design of this multigenerational living/home & income style property is very clever.)

We had a great stay! The place is incredible and very entertaining with all the phones around the place. Kathy was super helpful with all her directions, I would highly reccomend staying here!

we had a wonderful stay. Felt right at home. would recommend for a relaxed stay wih stunning views to the mountains. unfortunately we missed it durle to the weather but was still worth it. wonderful host to have a healthy conversation.

If there was a best host award, Richard would win it hands down. In fact he’d probably be too humble to accept. It’s rare to find someone who is so welcoming and cares so much about you and your stay. A stay at Richard’s is all that any AirBnB can aspire to be and I look forward to staying again. PERFECT.
