Tiny Barn

The Tiny barn is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous walks from the working dairy and sheep farm - it is just the ground floor and has a small double bed with access to one side, sofa bed, small shower room and kitchenette. It has a dedicated Airband satellite hub for WiFi and is generally very good. It’s a very old building right in the middle of our farm near the cow sheds so expect lots of cows, tractors, farm smells and farmers! Guests can park just outside the tiny barn.

The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

The cottage is only 2 miles from Much Wenlock and 5 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where you'll find many museums as well as canoeing, rafting and fishing on the River Severn. There is no light pollution so stars are incredible and sometimes the Auroa is too!

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. Petit Blythe is self-contained and adjoins a charming cottage within a beautiful setting close to the River Severn.
