Carrie brought homemade cookies when we checked in as well as a few footballs after she saw we had young boys. The pictures on the ad are a bit outdated but that means the place is way better than we expected as they have all new furniture. Very cozy cabin with all the needed amenities.

Matthew, thank you so much for hosting us! My mother and I really enjoyed our stay. It was great having our own rooms, and we found everything we needed right at our fingertips. The place was clean, and accessing it was super easy. We'd definitely stay again, thank you for being an amazing host!

We absolutely loved our time at the beach house! It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after our long drive over the previous two weeks. We enjoyed paddling in the bay and saw lots of wildlife! Nearby Tonsina Creek trail is also gorgeous. It was lovely to be a little bit outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Seward, but easy to get to all the best restaurants and activities in town! The Cottage on the Bay was unbelievable! Upon arrival we commented the only thing that would make the cottage better was to face west vs east..until sunrise the next morning. WOW! Every morning was spectacular! Being 10 min away from Seward was great (the dirt road was not in the best shape but we're from MI so we are used to roads w/ potholes). We cooked most breakfasts/dinners (the kitchen was great for meal prep) it was nice to have lunch in town. The Safeway in Seward was stocked well and we found everything needed even gluten free items. The cottage was a perfect home base for a jam-packed week of activities starting w/ a 6 hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park (we saw a humpback in Sept amazing). The Two Lakes Trail in Seward was our warm up for the Exit Glacier hike. The Alaska SeaLife Center was great for our 1 rainy day! We also rafted the Resurrection River, all in Seward. Jet skiing in Whittier was crazy fun too! The cottage and Alaska did not disappoint!

The views from the cabin is unbelievable! We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the interior space and felt at home relaxing in the beautiful cabin.

Women's hockey team stayed here and it was great. Matched the description very well. The deck space is great!

Great place to stay. Safe, quiet neighborhood close to shopping and activities in south Anchorage. The location also makes for a shorter drive heading southbound to Girdwood or other locations. Very spacious, modern and well-appointed on the inside. The host was friendly and immediately responsive to making some recommended improvements.

This Airbnb was simply perfect. Well appointed, spacious, with a nice back deck overlooking a small area of water (the bird watching was awesome). The 3 bathrooms are all equipped with bidet toilets and the beds were so very comfortable. Sharon was the best hostess - very communicative and polite. I wish we had stayed at Sharon’s the entire time we were in Alaska instead of breaking up our stay at two different airbnbs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and dine-in. You will surely love this Airbnb.
