Alight from the M3 or M6 two miles south of Castleton at the single track road to Westerdale and follow the white topped parish boundary stones for ten minutes up to the top of Brown Hill until the imposing Seated Figure appears just off to your left. Go and see him while he's still enjoying some solitude.
