Although ramen seems to be the new 'it' food, udon is slowly creeping up and Monzo is THE place to eat it. They offer traditional & specialty versions of it -all super yummy! My rec: Uni Udon.

I am a bit of a coffee snob and I truly believe 'Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks'. Why spend $5 on sugar & burnt coffee when you can take that $5 & come to Verve for an amazing cup!!

Located next to The Broad, this is ideal for brunch before your visit to the museum or dinner after. Otium's menu is very creative and combines ingredients you'd never think to pair.

Having been born and lived in Japan, I am a real sushi snob. I will admit Sushi Gen is overly hyped but they have great quality fish and take pride in their products. I'd definitely recommend you try.

Great way to spend a couple of hours in LA. Gift shop has some unusual selections - this would be a good stop for gifts for those impossible to buy for friends.
