It has a huge sandy beach with gray black gravel. It is ideal for activities such as rackets, ball games, etc. The beach has two beach bars that serve drinks and food. If you want to sit on sunbeds it would be good to arrive early as there are not many sunbeds. The sea is deep and wavy. If you like waves, they are the perfect location, but you need to be careful and prudent. If you are a sunset lover stay until the sun sets, the view from Platy Gialos is wonderful.

Palionisos Beach
Palionisos is located on the other side of the island. On the way you will see beautiful images of the wildlife of the island. Mountains, rocks, animals, shrubs with the traditional plant of the place thyme. You will actually "climb" the mountain slope and then descend to the wonderful Palionisos. The waters are always calm and have a blue-green color like a real pool. Many yachts are stranded in this area because of this. There are two traditional taverns and a Beach bar that also has sunbeds and umbrellas. The distance is long (35-40 minutes) and you will definitely need a vehicle, but the route and the destination will reward you.
