Food Scene

Wonderful food here. Not as big or busy as some of the other places around which is part of the charm. Also has a wicked bottle shop with a distinct Spanish flavour.

Family run cafe/restaurant (Father and his sons). Friendly service, great coffee and large dish servings @ good prices. Always enjoyable as the place is constantly busy and gets the midday/afternoon sun at the front seats. Has a buzz from the mix of locals and visitors with it's street-side seating.

Best restaurant in the area when you consider the food and views. Just the perfect spot to sit and watch Sydney. We've been there more times that we'd care to admit.

So worth the walk over. 15 mins from our front door. A complete oddity in a city of this size. A perfect little community garden with influence from the resident artists. It's so secret we shouldn't even be writing about it here...

The best way to travel in Sydney! No better way to see Sydney that from the water. If you're going to the City highly recommend a ferry ride to Circular Quay. You can pay on arrival. Suggest buying an Opal card there to make public transport easier to use. There are also Ferries available to Balmain, Darling Harbour, Grenwich and Hunters Hill. Also note from Circular Quay you can easily catch a ferry to Manly or Taronga Zoo.
