Amontola – Great Indian food (does takeaway, pick up only) A Taste of Thailand (King Street) – Thai cuisine The Fleece Hotel – historic building and great food, coffee etc Rustique Restaurant – French cuisine Stoneygate Farm Shop & Café – a few minutes drive out of town, meats from the farm and the best 00 pizza flour around NB: It’s worth Google-ing anything above to find out new opening hours and whether you need to book or not. LOCAL SHOPS: Lidl – a walk round the corner (next to Friary Gardens) Co-op – in the market place Wilfred Deli (Finkle Street) – great freshly made snack foods and coffee Mocha (Market Square) – coffee and homemade chocolates Brooke’s Garage – walk up the hill onto Darlington Road, best craft beers and fresh deli produce If you drive up to Catterick Garrison (5mins) there is a Tesco, Aldi, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and other high street outlets.
