If you head to the end of Stevensville Rd, you'll find other trails, some of which bring you to the "Forehead." If you're really ambitious, you can hike across the flat (-ish) top of the mountain from one to the other. If you really aren't ambitious or just not the hiking type, you can drive up the Toll Road from Stowe for a (steep) fee. It's worth it for the view. The top of the mountain has large rocky expanses and rare alpine tundra plants. (We consider it "Our" mountain, having grown up under it.)
