The Avalon Marshes Centre sits at the heart of Somerset’s Avalon Marshes. Wells Cathedral is worth a visit as is the market place and small shops surrounding it. A cathedral city, small enough to explore by foot. Market days Wednesday and Saturday and praticularly lovely. Wells' historic architecture has led to the city being used as a shooting location for numerous films and television programmes.
