Lovely walk along the coast and cafe set up in Airstream caravans. Good place to see the local seal population.
The largest of the Norfolk Broads- Great for wildlife, sailing and fishing. It is a short boat ride away. Plus there is a pub at the far end! (Pleasure Boat Inn). There is also Horsey Mere, where there is a fully restored wind pump, (windmill), owned by the National Trust and a small cafe.

Day boat hire on your doorstep

Martham Ferry Boatyard is less than 50 metres away from Winsome Meed. Their largely electric powered fleet are self-drive and available for half a day up to a week. Instruction is included as are life jackets. Visit: https://www.marthamferryboatyard.co.uk/boathire If you prefer a more traditional day boat, sailing boat or canoe, there is another boatyard located 400 metres from Winsome Meed, (turn right out of gate and walk to end of footpath.
