Shingle Street, Bawdsey and Felixstowe lie along the coastline and near the mouth of the River Deben. There are many stunning walks to be explored here. Old Felixstowe is a fishing community where you can buy the catch of the day and then take a small ferry over to Bawdsey (a very famous radar headquarters during the Second World War).
