Sightseeing
Swim in Rainbow Springs, or rent paddleboards in the city of Dunnellon to float down the Rainbow River from KP Hole Park. You can see beautiful birds, lots of turtles, and many different types of fish. Please be aware that no disposable packaging or water bottles, coolers, or alcohol are allowed in Rainbow River parks. Dunnellon is about an hour away from where you are staying.

Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail is 16 miles long, and a perfect place for biking or long runs/walks since it will give you 32 miles both ways. This paved trail connects Gainesville's Boulware Springs Park with the city of Hawthorne and goes through the Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park and many other local and state conservation sites. Depending on the time of the day, you will see different wildlife. There are a lot of deers and armadillos at any time of the day. The trail is free. The start of the trail is about 25 minutes away from your stay.

Thomas Center is an event venue with an adorable garden surrounding it. The garden is open to the public, and there are also free yoga classes there a couple of times a week. Take a walk to the historic Duckpond district and B&B area to enjoy the view of beautiful victorian style homes.
