Sightseeing
This is a wonderful destination to head to from our front door. You can ride, or hike through the forest and the endless network of trails with or without your dog. If you want a longer loop you can do the 4 Lakes trail route , or if you're looking for a shorter loop Stump Lake is a good option.
Once you get there you can take a dip in the lake, go for a paddle (they have rentals there), or bring a picnic.
Just note that dogs are not welcome at the beach.

This is the most popular in hike that leads to a beautiful view of the inlet. It is considered a more strenuous hike, so be prepared with food, water and proper attire.
There are two peaks to access from the trail head and you can see how you go when you get to the first fork in the trail.
Although we take out dog on this hike, it is more tricky as there are ladders in a few areas. I would recommend reading up more eon the hike if you don't hike/scramble often.

This is our favourite lake to swim in, even though it's just off the highway. Unfortunately over the past few years it's gotten extremely busy, so you either have to go there early in the morning to get parking, and or head there just as the sun is going down for more peace and quiet.
