Our favourite local beach - this is where we go every weekend. Sand is abit coarse but it has a nice family feel to it with a cafe overlooking the beach. You can also rent sunbeds here.

Food Scene
Run by a friend of ours. Traditional food a bit more refined than in your local "tasca". Good selection of Portuguese wines and nicely located next to the local music society and Parque Morais.

Our favourite local Chicken piri-piri takeaway. Order with the normal sauce (molho da casa) or spicy (piri-piri). The owner Jose doesn't speak much English but point and order, it is worth it!!
