Cala Sardina is a beautiful small stoney beach with a couple of restaurants (chiringuitos). Great for snorkelling and paddle boarding. It’s located to the north of Torreguadiaro, just off the Cádiz-Malaga road.
Playa Secreta is a smaller nudist beach just to the south of Cala Sardina and can be reached by walking/ climbing from Playa Secreta, or you can park by ‘Hotel Boutique Milla de Plata’ and walk down the steps.

Playa de los lances can be found at the far end of Tarfia. It’s a kite and windsurf hotspot and great for long beach walks. Do check the wind before heading here, if it’s very windy it’s not ideal for sunbathing! Windguru is a good website to check the wind at any beach.
Good places to park/ have a drink or eat are ‘Waves Beach Bar’, ‘Hotel Dos Mares’, ‘ Chiringuito Arte Vida’ and ‘Hotel Hurricane’.
Gaia Beach Club, Waikiki and Balneario Beach Club are also good beach bars along Tarifa Beach (main town).

Playa de Los Lances
Grupo Cardenal CisnerosPlaya de los lances can be found at the far end of Tarfia. It’s a kite and windsurf hotspot and great for long beach walks. Do check the wind before heading here, if it’s very windy it’s not ideal for sunbathing! Windguru is a good website to check the wind at any beach.

Punta Paloma is a lovely beach with a big sand dune. It’s a great beach when there are westerly winds as you can ‘take cover’ at the bottom of the dune. Another great spot for wind and kitesurf. You can park at ‘chiringuito Volare’.

Bolonia is another BEAUTIFUL beach with a huge sand dune to the right. A 40 minute walk to the left you’ll arrive at the natural pools of Bolonia. When the water is calm the water can be cristal clear.
One of our favourite beaches, and a great spot to sleep in a van or caravan! If you’re a pizza lover, you must eat in Pizzeria La Marisima.

Bolonia is another BEAUTIFUL beach with a huge sand dune to the right. A 40 minute walk to the left you’ll arrive at the natural pools of Bolonia. When the water is calm the water can be cristal clear.
One of our favourite beaches, and a great spot to sleep in a van or caravan! If you’re a pizza lover, you must eat in Pizzeria La Marisima.
Los caños de Meca is another favourite beach of ours, all the way from the lighthouse to the smaller coves of ‘Playa La Pequeña Lulu’.
Levante street food is the best place to eat, check opening times to avoid disappointment. There are also beach bars along the beach front, we love ‘Ohana’ and ‘Las Dunas’.

Los Caños de Meca
Los caños de Meca is another favourite beach of ours, all the way from the lighthouse to the smaller coves of ‘Playa La Pequeña Lulu’.
Levante street food is the best place to eat, check opening times to avoid disappointment. There are also beach bars along the beach front, we love ‘Ohana’ and ‘Las Dunas’.
