This is must place to go when you in Riga. Lots of locals go, tourists go - so in the end its perfect mix. I think Ala is as close as its gets when people ask for something traditional - place is located in basement, dimmed lights, candles, huge local beer selection, latvian style kitchen (lots of potatoes lol and huge portions - you might as how come we stay that slim? :D I know, I know - its secret !!! hahah) And the best thing about this place - maybe except mondays, but they are always busy - either its traditional dance evening, or karaoke, live music or concert - there is always something happening in the evenings.

This is where you go if you want to dance. The same time - funny thing with Latvians - we can make dancing happening everywhere - in smallest bars, on highest bar tables, so just keep your body ready and join the rhythm :)
