This is our favourite beach and it's so close to our house! Go at low tide and you can walk for a while on the beautiful sandy beach. The water is pretty warm in the summer as well so we love to go swimming here.

Checkout the beautiful swimming pools and falls. Be careful not to go too close to the falls! The water is nice and warm, and there are more private spots to swim if you go further up the river.

Hornby Island is incredibly beautiful. Tribune bay is a long sandy beach. There are lots of hiking/biking trails on the island too!

A MUST SEE when you visit Comox! The spit is lined with a driftwood fence to protect it from erosion. There is a sandy beach you can walk to at low tide or paddle to that people call "Little Mexico." If you feel like a workout, hike the steps that go up the steep sandy bank. There are gorgeous homes overlooking the water there, and great blackberry picking in August.
