I work here! And it's great because it can easily be stringed together as a part of a tour of Main Street.

Unique dishes, excellent decour, friendly staff, and an app that let's you order before you pick-up, Two Sisters is well-worth slightly pricier menu. It is my go-to place for lunch with friends or for a midday coffee. Highly recommended.

Unassuming in appearance, Mountain Eagle is a cultural centre of Smithers. Want to find out what's going on around town? Check out it's chock-a-block bulletin board. While you're at it, order a divine Chai Latte and browse a generous selection of second-hand books and local artwork. A sleeper hit that too many locals and tourists pass by.

Parks & Nature
Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley are full of stunning hikes that take the traveller into what Northern British Columbia is all about: pristine wilderness. The problem for the visitor is that it's difficult to know where to begin. We'd recommend the Babines as they are only a twenty minute drive from town and offer hikes for both beginner and veteran outdoors enthusiasts. Stop by the tourist information centre for maps, directions, and recommendations. Then set out on a sunny day and prepare to enter a world of stunning mountain ridgelines, bountiful valley basins, and beautiful alpine flowers.
